A good five or so months after launch, Capcom has properly dated and announced the PC port for the esteemed Monster Hunter: World.
The game will be launching on Steam August 9th, and is available for pre-purchase (with all of the doodads that came with the console versions before) right now.
From the Steam page we can see both the minimum system requirements…

…though both of these are tuned for running the game at 1080p on a capped 30 FPS on low and high settings respectively.
The game will be able to run at 60 FPS, output at higher resolutions, and have all those adjustable graphics options PC gamers love to fool around with as seen in screenshots shared on Capcom’s official blog.
Monster Hunter: World is a great game, and a fantastic starting point for anyone who’s ever been interested in the act of huntin’ and lootin’ big ol’ beasties. The game has only featured incredibly minor paid cosmetic DLC, and has continued to push out free updates with several events and new monsters in the months since the console release. It’s unknown as of yet how those events will end up rolling out on PC, but it’s a good thing that PC-only players will finally get their chance to pick at the already extensive launch offerings in a month’s time.
