Following the launch of a limited edition 20th Anniversary commemorative PS4 by Sony last year, the company has put the first of the 12,300 serialized units up for auction. Bidding for the console began earlier today, and will run until Sunday. The unit currently sits at a whopping ¥1,785,000, roughly a little over $15,000. Those of you with money to burn can find the auction here but be warned, shipping is to Japan only, so you’ll need an address over there, or a trustworthy friend willing to hold onto it for you.

All proceeds from the sale will be donated to Save the Children Japan, with Sony matching the winning bid. In addition, Sony is encouraging fans on Twitter to use the hashtag #ps_20th_love, with each tweet adding a further ¥20 to the amount donated. Users of the tag are also entered into a draw to receive one of twenty ¥3,000 PSN gift cards.
