The URW crew get together this week to talk about KyoAni’s Liz and the Blue Bird, a spin-off of the Sound! Euphonium series by the same studio. While its substance might be divisive, we get pretty into the ways music in general often play a role in anime. Plus, Maverick’s up to date on High Card‘s rickety climax, John finished up Witch from Mercury just in time for the next season, Rose checked out the newest sentai series Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger, and Elvie took the time to catch up on the continuations of In/Spectre and Vinland Saga!

The opening track is Liz and the Blue Bird Movement III, “A Decision of Love” arranged by Akito Matsuda, and the closing track is “Songbirds” by Homecoming.
