Earlier this morning, Deadly Premonition and D4 director Hidetaka “SWERY65” Suehiro announced his departure from Access Games, where he had worked since 2002.

Early last year SWERY had announced he was taking a leave in order to recover from reactive hypoglycemia, so it’s not too surprising to see this news. While the fate of a follow up to D4 are up in the air, at the very least SWERY seems confident that he will return.
