During Disney’s D23 expo, Sony announced new Star Wars bundles which include an appropriately Darth Vader themed limited edition PS4. The first bundle is for Star Wars Battlefront and includes the deluxe edition of the game as well as a digital voucher for a selection of classic Star Wars games: the SNES title Super Star Wars and the PS2 titles Racer Revenge, Jedi Starfighter, and Bounty Hunter. The second bundle is for Disney Infinity 3.0 and includes Star Wars Disney Infinity figures as well as the classic game bundle.

As exciting as that Darth Vader PS4 looks, what’s really interesting are the classic games included. With three PS2 Star Wars titles now coming to PS4, it raises the question of whether Sony will be bringing more older games to the system. There’s certainly a market for it, so it wouldn’t be too surprising to see more ported titles if the bundles does well.

It’s a little weird the Battlefront bundle doesn’t come with the first two Battlefront games, but it’s nice enough to get some other PS2 Star Wars titles. The bundles will be available on November 17th, and preorders are “starting soon”.
