It’s been a long time coming, but Persona 5’s release date was finally revealed during an event at the Tokyo Tower. Japan will be able to purchase the stylish and slick RPG on Sept. 15th of this year. For the rest of us, we’ll have to make do with watching the latest trailer. I’m sure there will be a western announcement at E3.

Atlus also announced a prequel anime OVA and a collector’s edition that comes with soundtrack samples from every previous Persona game. No word on if these things will see official release in the US, but I’m sure we’ll at least get the anime and some form of collector’s set over here.
