After appearing on Amazon and in a few other places the Xbox One finally has a 1 TB SKU. Priced at $399, this bigger Xbox will be released on June 16 and will be bundled with the new controller and a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The old, 500 GB, SKU will now be set at $349 and for those of us watching our hard drives fill we’re wondering why this wasn’t done in the first place.

Also announced was a $24.99 Xbox controller wireless adapter that will allow the controller to plug into Windows 10 PCs. No mention is those adapters will work with older versions of Windows but this does fit into the possibility of Windows 10/Xbox One integration. The adapter will also be bundled with the new controller at $79.95.

Considering this all comes out on during E3 I have to wonder if those Amazon leaks forced this announcement to come out early. That said I bet you’ll still hear some pomp and circumstance over this new Xbox and controller at some point during their press conference. Come back to Chooch during all of E3 for live blogs of the conferences and all the news you could ever want.
