Mojang have announced a huge update to Minecraft, adding cross platform functionality that will allow PC, console and mobile gamers to play together. As part of Minecraft’s fall update, the game will also add support for community servers across all platforms, finally bringing the functionality of the PC version to console and mobile.

In addition, Minecraft is getting a 4K makeover, through it’s “Super Duper Graphics Pack”, which also adds in support for custom, player-made skins, as well as HDR support, in addition to supporting 4K resolution. The big update goes live this fall.
