If you’re like me, you’ve been waiting for Divekick news every day, clutching your Vita, struggling to keep tears from forming at your eyes because you want Johnny Gat so badly. Thankfully, the wait is almost over.
Next gen versions of Addition Edition +, which will add Mr. Gat to the cast of characters, is dropping from the sky on Oct 7th for PS4 users in the US, and Oct 8th on Xbox One and PS4 in Europe. Divekick’s Twitter went on to say that the PC, PS3, and Vita versions will update with Johnny and his stage for free in the coming week. Update: Alex Jebailey has Tweeted that AE+ will come to PC/Vita/PS3 on the 7th as well. Still free!
In case you forgot, the PS4 version of Divekick isn’t crossbuy, because it’d be unfair to Xbox One users who have to buy the game from scratch. I’m gladly re-buying the game on PS4, since you can’t own Divekick on too many consoles.
