Following in the footsteps of Wolfenstein: The New Order and Doom, Bethesda and id Software have announced a new Quake game, titled Quake Champions. The game will be a PC multiplayer arena style shooter, featuring a “diverse cast” of characters with different abilities.

Emphasis was placed on how the game will be accessible to players of all skill levels, as well as on its performance- Quake Champions runs at 120hz and with an unlocked framerate. Bethesda also mentioned that they will be expanding their esports programs, and that more info about Champions will be at QuakeCon.
