What as previously announced as Dragon Ball: Project Z has finally received the name Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot in a new cinematic trailer. Though they didn’t show any gameplay or even a UI, the display was a fairly impressive recreation of the events of the Saiyan Invasion and Frieza sagas. It was perhaps the most bombastic interpretation of these events I’ve ever seen, surpassing even the original animation.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is supposed to be an Action RPG and is intended for release in early 2020. It is developed by CyberConnect2, long-time developers for the Naruto licenced games.
