The latest series of headlines turning heads this week was a major leak of classified documents, reportedly traced back to having been circulated through the use of Discord. Details of the documents include the United States’ involvement in the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian war.
As of recent, provided by the cooperation of Discord representatives with the FBI, the original leaker is found and identified to be 21-year-old Jack Teixeira, a member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard. Teixeira has since been apprehended and although explicit motivations still remain unclear, chat history in his private Discord server seemed to suggest he just wanted to impress his members.
