During the Capcom Cup at this year’s PSX, the Street Fighter franchise got a whopper of an announcement: to commemorate the arcade classic’s 30 year anniversary, Capcom plans to release Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, which includes a staggering twelve games.

The collection, due out in May 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, provides a comprehensive document of Street Fighter’s iconic arcade years. The games included are as follows:

  • Street Fighter
  • Street Fighter II
  • Street Fighter II: Champion Edition & Hyper Fighting
  • Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers & Turbo
  • Street Fighter Alpha 1, 2, and 3
  • Street Fighter III, 2nd Impact, and 3rd Strike

In addition to this wealth of games, the collection will include online play for Hyper Fighting, Turbo, Alpha 3, and 3rd Strike. It will also feature bonuses such as a sprite viewer, museum mode, franchise timeline, and more. Such an extensive anthology is certainly impressive, and these classic titles might provide the perfect intro for newcomers to the series.
