UPDATE:It’s up! The rumors are true! God bless America.

Oooooh boy! According to a listing on the ESRB website, the rare and valuable Misadventures of Tron Bonne game may be coming to PS1 Classics within the coming weeks. The listing is for PS3, PSP, and Vita, which matches with most current PS1 Classics releases.

The Misadventures of Tron Bonne stars the titular Tron, the villain turned antihero of the Mega Man Legends series. This entry is a prequel, charting Tron and her sibling’s rise to infamy as they plunder treasure and get into all sorts of mischief with Tron’s famous Servbots at her beck and call. Gameplay is sometimes similar to the Legends series, but also includes puzzle and adventure segments depending on the mission.

This release would match up with Capcom’s Mega Man May celebration, in which four classic Mega Man games will be releasing on Wii U virtual console each week this month. Sure, getting to play Mega Man Zero 2 on your Wii U might be a plus, but if I’m able to play Tron Bonne on my Vita this month, especially when the average price for a copy is 250$, I’d say Sony has the upper hand.
