We managed to get through another season of anime for the most part, and that means it’s time to get ready for the new one. It never ends! After the preview, John talks about the newest episodes of Wonder Egg Priority, which are really testing everyone’s wills to continue. Then, Rose keeps us up to date on her feelings of Spider Isekai, Slime Isekai, MMO Isekai, and Kill La Kill. Elvie’s being tortured by Gekidol and Yashahime still, but at least Heaven’s Design Team is there for her and John to make them feel normal again.

Our theme song is Give It Up? by 96neko from Heaven’s Design Team, and the ending is Kizuna by Airi Kagami from Gekidol.

We watched the critically acclaimed Ping Pong the Animation this month on the show! Rose and Elvie also talked about that spider-based isekai, skateboarding clowns, and the on-going antics of Dr. Stone. John is awaiting the end of Healin’ Good Precure, while also wondering about what direction Wonder Egg Priority is headed in.

The opening to this episode is “Tada Hitori” by Bakudan Johnny, and the ending is “Bokurani Tsuite” by Merengue.

Choochagatari Unlimited Train Works Episode 56: Animal Facts with Rose

2021 is truly upon us as the anime crew digs into the new season for real this time. All three watched Wonder Egg Priority (and have high hopes for it!) but otherwise have a real spread of shows to discuss. Elvie tackles #problematic events in Yashahime, condiment crying in Dr. Ramune, and however you pronounce I*CHU. John’s got the usuals, but he’s also been Yuru Camping and designing animals in heaven. Rose keeps us up to date on the isekais, mostly, with Re: Zero, Slime, Spider, and even Log Horizon all airing this season!

This episode’s OP is the Sakura Wars theme from, well, Sakura Wars. The ED is “Blue Horizon” by Miyu Oshiro, the ending from Log Horizon season three.
