Welcome to Day 2 of our belated PAX 2022 coverage! If you missed last week’s set of videos, you should definitely start there. It’s a party in a bottle, baby! We want this coverage to be somewhat holistic, entertaining, and real while also providing important critical value by bringing a lens into the methods that produce the games we love, so it’s a lot of things at once! As Day 2 began, we were sore, tired, and struggling against myriad tech issues. But I know well the tolls of gamer-labor upon the human body. I know that my body is capable of immense amounts of work before it eventually just gives up. So pushing through the pain, we were still STOKED to be able to take on Day 2 of PAX: Here comes some of the coolest games of the weekend!
Saturday – Questioning True Gamer Faith
Everyone we spoke with was so passionate about their projects (if they showed up), it was infectious to see these incredible efforts from all around the world! But… is it all fun and games? Or will the cracks of this gargantuan undertaking start to show? How will the toll of PAX hit Franny, Solon, and all the people showing their games to thousands of people over multiple days?
