In one of the dumbest moves I’ve seen in ages, Nintendo shut down Spotpass for Swapnote. This includes special notes from Nintendo developers and Nikki.

Nintendo has learned that some consumers, including minors, have been exchanging their friend codes on Internet bulletin boards and then using Swapnote (known as Nintendo Letter Box in other regions) to exchange offensive material.

Swapnote can still be used to Streetpass, meaning you can still send strangers your erection as long as you pass by them, not if you get their friend code off 4chan.

Everyone involved in this is stupid I wish I could still send silly drawings to my friends, I’m going to bed.
